Rem Conway

Rem Conway is a Birmingham-based writer, producer, and director, currently serving as Development Producer at Kudos Knight—the creative partnership between Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and leading scripted producer Kudos. He is best known for his work as a producer on Netflix’s Sex Education, as well as credits on BBC’s My Name is Leon, ITV’s Our House, and ITV/Amazon’s Riches.

Rem began his career in theatre production, writing, producing, and directing his first stage play in 2011, which launched him into the industry. He is passionate about bridging the gap between grassroots creatives and the wider industry, with a particular focus on championing underrepresented and previously unheard voices. Rem is also the founder and CEO of SENTI, a Birmingham-based organisation that includes a drama academy, production company, industry events, and a talent agency supporting diverse talent.

His current role at Kudos Knight involves leading development to grow a world-class scripted production hub in the West Midlands, nurturing local writing talent, and investing in skills and training for the region’s creative workforce. Rem is committed to authentic inclusion and believes in diversifying storytelling at all levels of the industry, from talent on screen to writers, directors, and producers behind the scenes.
